RICHMONDVILLE – Leora M. Brooker, 78, passed away October 11, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 11, 1935 in South Valley, the daughter of William and Cora (Brown) Jones.
Leora married Robert S. Brooker on October 6, 1951 in South Valley. He predeceased her on October 3, 2007.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Sperbeck of Richmondville, William and Lisa Brooker of North Carolina, Suzanne and Steven Ebert of Decatur and Christine and Ronald Jeffers of Warnerville; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great-grandchild; two sisters, Barbara Lane of Ohio and Irma Bates of Richmondville; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main St., Worcester.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, October 17th at the funeral home, with the Rev. Susan Wenner. Interment will follow at South Valley Cemetery.
