SCHENEVUS - Linda J. Aubry, 57, a resident of Schenevus, passed away unexpectedly March 14, 2008 at A. O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.
Linda was born on May 27, 1950, to Clifford and Gladys Moseman. She was the eldest of six siblings.
In 1993, Linda graduated from the Milford BOCES program with her CNA, and worked in the community as a CNA and with children until 2000.
Linda had a passion for animals and greatly enjoyed crafts. Feeling there was no greater gift than one that was homemade, whether given or received, she was often making small items for her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
But Linda's greatest joy was family. Linda loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren, and worked extensively with her granddaughter's Schenevus Girl Scout Troop in 2006.
Linda is survived by her separated husband, Andre Aubry; her companion, Ernie Foster; her sons and daughters-in-law, Matt Foster and Miki DeLaFleur, and Andre and Steffaine Aubry, and her son, Walter Strout; her granddaughters, Cheyenn and Deziray Aubry; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Shannon and Shirly Moseman, and Len and Brenda Haynes; her sister and brother-in-law, Laurie and Randy Curran; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was predeceased by her mother and father; and her sisters, Lola and Doraine.
Calling hours will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Heller Funeral Home in Schenevus, with services following at 12 p.m, with the Rev. Larry Russell, pastor at the Schenevus United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be at the Schenevus Cemetery. Following the burial there will be a reception to celebrate the life of Linda J. Aubry.
