ONEONTA - Logan Piefer, 11, beloved son of Robin and Andrew Piefer, passed away peacefully at his home in Oneonta, NY, on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Logan was born in Bryn Mawr, PA, on June 14, 2003.

In spite of battling Hunter Syndrome his entire life, he was full of joy and laughter and brought both to all those who knew him.

Logan is survived by his loving parents, sisters, Avery and Kara Piefer; maternal grandparents, Ann and Gordon Schnare of Brownsville, VT; paternal grandparents, Donald and Susan Piefer of East Petersburg, PA; his great grandfather, Lewis Whitaker of East Barnard, VT, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.


Celebration of Life will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at the Lewis, Hurley, and Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz Street, Oneonta, NY, with the Rev. Craig Schwalenberg, officiating.

Reception will follow at 4:30 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 12 Ford Avenue, Oneonta, NY
