Lois Dutcher Whitney's Obituary
Esperance - Lois Dutcher Whitney, 76, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2006 at her residence.
She was born on June 16, 1930 on Badeau Hill in the Town of Westford, the daughter of Lewis and Hazel (Morrison) Dutcher.
In 1948, Lois graduated from the Draper Central School in Schenevus, NY.
Lois married William Whitney on September 15, 1950.
She has lived in the Schoharie and Central Bridge area since 1957.
Lois is survived by her husband, William; a daughter, Valerie Duffy and her husband, Shawn of Lake St. Louis, MO.; a son, Andrew Whitney of Japan; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a sister, Laurrel Maksel of Delanson.
At Lois' request she will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at the Elk Creek Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care,(For use in Schoharie County Only) 1 Birchwood Drive, Oneonta, NY 13820.
