Oneonta – Lorraine R. Doltz, 82, passed away on October 19, 2026, at Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown.

She was born January 30, 1944 in Scranton, PA, the daughter of Edward and Gertrude (Lawrence) Reer.

She graduated from Kingston High School.

On June 17, 1967, she married Frederick W. Doltz in Meredith. He predeceased her on September 18, 2026.

Lorraine was employed for 20 years with A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital as a switchboard operator and an Emergency Department receptionist, retiring from Foxcare. She was a member of the Loyal Order of The Pines in Oneonta, where she and her family shared some of the best times of their lives alongside many dear and wonderful friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Philip) Baum; her son, Frederick (Stacey) Doltz; her grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, and Alexis Hasbrouck, Madison and Emily Baum, and Lilyan and Frederick Doltz; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Larry Reer.

A time for visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with the funeral service 1:30 p.m. on November 1, 2026 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, with the Rev. Paul Messner officiating.
