Westford



Louis Durso, 73, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Focus@Otsego in Cooperstown.



He was born on January 31, 1943 in Manhattan, NY, the son of Angelo and Mary (Spica) Durso.



Louis married Mary Boehm on November 7, 1964 in East Northport, Long Island.



He was a metallurgist for precious metals all throughout New York State.



Louis moved to Westford from Yaphank, Long Island in March of 1993.



He is survived by his wife, Mary Durso of Westford; 2 sons, Joseph (Dee) Durso and James Durso; 2 grandchildren, Justin and Amanda; 2 nieces, Angel and Maryanne and nephew, Michael.



Louis was predeceased by his son, Jason Durso and his sister, Adaline Bensenvega.



A funeral service will be held 1 p.m Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street in Worcester with the Rev. Paul Messner officiating.



Burial will follow at the Westford Cemetery.



Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
