Oneonta - Lucy M. Barnes, 99, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta.
She was born on January 19, 1916 in Haverhill, MA.
Lucy married Charles H. Barnes on August 20, 1934 in Oneonta. He predeceased her on December 9, 2006.
She worked at Bresee's and Sisson's Department Stores and was a member of the Elm Park Methodist Church.
Lucy is survived by her son, David Barnes and his wife, Jody of Oneonta.
A graveside service will be held 1: 00 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery with the Rev. Donna Martin, officiating.
