Gloversville
Luella Dulkis, 82, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home in Gloversville.
She was born on January 22, 1930; the daughter of Austin and Martha (Houch) Belknap.
Luella was a lifelong area resident who worked for Sanyo Dress Factory in Oneonta for many years.
She was a volunteer and member of the Gloversville Senior Center.
Luella is survived by her daughter Ilena Dulkis-Pagillo of Mayfield, NY; her son Victor Dulkis of Florida; her grandchildren, Michael P. Pagillo, Richard Pagillo, Sandra LaPre, Barbara Pagillo, Rebekah Janitz and Tammy Dulkis; her great grandchildren, Paige Duncan, Alex Janitz, Brittany Janitz, Ethan LaPre, Alexis LaPre, Carly Bower and Kyle Pagillo, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Victor and a son Gale Dulkis.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Heller Funeral Home, 25 Arch St. in Schenevus with the Rev. Nancy Dulkis officiating.
Burial will follow at the Schenevus Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Luella to the Gloversville Senior Center, 53 Church St., Gloversville, NY 12078.
