Oneonta – Margaret F. Garlick, 95, passed away May 26, 2023 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford.

She was born July 23, 1927 in Grand Gorge, the daughter of George and Doris (Faulkner) Fredenburgh.

She married Stanley Garlick on July 26, 1952.

She lived in Laurens until moving to Crow Hill near Gilbert Lake State Park. She aided in the design and construction of Edgewood Golf Course. She also aided in the operation and maintenance of the course for several years until it was sold to Rowland Dutcher, whose father Millard was Stanley's partner. Those who played the course found it to be challenging and scenic. Margaret and Stanley were members of the Reminiscers Car Club for many years.

She was predeceased by Stanley and became physically disabled and moved in with Stanley's cousins Richard and Karen Garlick of Goodyear Lake.  The final years were at Robinson Terrace in Stamford. She leaves several cousins and friends.

She will be buried in the Elm Row Laurens Cemetery, Route 11, beside her husband at 10 AM on Friday, June 2.
