Schenevus – Marie D. Roberts, 85, passed away at home with those who loved her on March 23, 2024.

She was born June 4, 1938 in Newark, NJ, the daughter of Paul and Maria (Lepore) DeRogatis.

In 1976 Marie and her family moved to Schenevus.  She was active in several community and political organizations.  She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Worcester and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cooperstown.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa M. Roberts; her son, Dean Roberts Jr. and wife, Mary Clare; two grandsons, Matthew Roberts and Samuel Roberts; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Maria (Lepore) DeRogatis; her siblings, Rose DeRogatis, Sister Paula DeRogatis, Virginia Riccairdi and husband, Carmine and Gloria Clark and husband, Pat.

There will be no calling hours.

The funeral mass will be Noon, Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 201 Main St., Worcester.  A luncheon will follow in the parish social hall.

Interment will take place at a later date at the Schenevus Cemetery.
