Marilyn Connolly Hillis, 80, passed away November 23, 2020 at Huntington Hospital in Huntington, NY.

She was born Feb. 25,1940 in Lackawaxen, PA, the daughter of Joseph Connolly and Mary Hubbard.

She was a lifelong resident of Schenevus, having graduated from Oneonta High School, Class of 1958.  Marilyn was employed for 50 years at Drogen Wholesale Electrical Supply, Southside, Oneonta.   She was a member of women's bowling leagues at Holiday Lanes for many years.

Survivors are a son, Darren Hillis and his wife, Kathleen Hillis, and their sons Kyle, Ryan and Connor Hillis, Northport, NY;  a son, Wayne Hillis, Schenevus, NY; a grandson,  Jacob Mehegan, Gainesville, FL;  sister, Karen and Fred Wyckoff, Westford, NY; cousin, Mary Anne and Clarke Warner-Long of Fulton, NY; as well numerous cousins, niece and nephew.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Kenneth Hillis; mother, Mary Ramessini, Oneonta, NY and grandparents, Grace and Charles Hubbard, Oneonta, NY.

Calling hours will be Saturday, November 28, 2020 from Noon until the funeral at 1 p.m. at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, with the Rev. John Buddle, officiating.  Please wear a face cover, maintain social distancing and be prepared to possibly wait to enter the building.  Interment will follow at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery.
