ONEONTA – Marjorie Irene Donlin, 83, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Albany Medical Center.
She was born May 4, 1926 in Sayre, PA the daughter of Edward John and Amy (Crouch) Bugbee.
Marjorie married Martin S. Donlin at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oneonta in 1948. He predeceased her on September 30, 2006.
She enjoyed needlework, crocheting and her beautiful perennial flower gardens.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Martin E. and wife, Gail Donlin of Jericho, VT, Robert F. Donlin and companion, Janice Longtin of Otego, Richard A. and wife, Vickie Donlin of Cleveland, TN, Thomas E. Donlin of Jacksonville, FL and Joyce M. and husband, John Mikolaicyk of Oneonta; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia and husband, Don Weaver of Holmesville; a brother-in-law, George Donlin of Oneonta; several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her two special companions, "Birdie Blue and Daisy Lou".
She was predeceased by her twin brother, Bruce Bugbee; a sister, Thelma Delello and a brother, Kenneth Palmer.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 12:30 p.m. to the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, Oneonta, with the Rev. John Burns, officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.
