Obituary

East Worcester – Marvin D. Zeh, 90, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

He was born December 31, 1923 in Summit, the son of Olin L. and Grace (Decater) Zeh.

He married Julia Grasso on August 29, 1943 in East Worcester.

Marvin was a United States Army veteran. He served during World War II in an Infantry unit in the Pacific and was stationed in the Philippines. He was proud to have participated in The Honor Flight in Washington, DC with his son-in-law, Doug.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Worcester. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and puttering with small engines.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Julia V. Zeh of East Worcester; daughters, Helen and Alan Colbran of Roseboom, Dolores and James Kille of Holly Hills, FL, Candace and Douglas Wheeler of Poughquag, Robin and Andrew McNichols of Worcester and Angelyn Starr of Spencer; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Helen Couch, Mahlon Zeh, Doris Sperbeck, Lucille Lyons, Brunett Zeh, Robert Zeh, and Martha Coons.

Calling hours will be Noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014, with the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main St., Worcester, with the Rev. Paul Timmerman, officiating.

Burial with military honors will follow at the East Worcester Cemetery, Route 7, East Worcester.
