ONEONTA – Mary S. Buck, 90, of the town of Milford, passed away February 3, 2018 at home after a long illness.

She was born November 24, 1927 in Brooklyn, one of 12 children to Herbert and Winefred (Platz) Selleck.

She married David L. Buck on August 18, 1963.

Mary was a school teacher for many years. She also received a Register Nurse's degree, which became very valuable in the raising and caring for the llamas at the farm she and her husband owned and operated for 22 years.

Among her many talents she favored dressmaking and sewing. Mary was a good person who was always helping others.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, David L. Buck; children, Carl E. Buck, Mary Julia Potash, and Nancy Ann Rodgers; siblings, Ernestine Ragg, George Selleck and Charles Selleck and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time.
