Worcester, NY - Mary K. Chase Parslow, 88, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008 at
the Oneonta Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on March 25, 1919, the daughter of Edward J. and Florence E.(Ellee)Brady.
Mary married Edwin W. Chase on January 23, 1939. He predeceased
her on July 25, 1963. She then married Harold L. Parslow on December 11, 1990. He predeceased her on August 13, 1992.
Mary was a life long Worcester resident and dairy farmer. She
loved and enjoyed farm life with her animals, which she named every
one of them. Mary was always surrounded by her children,
grandchildren and many friends. She was also known as Ma to many and by her husband Harold. Mary graduated from the Worcester Central School and loved country music and Saturday night dancing.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Georgia A. Lesnewski and her
husband, John, of Summit and Florida and Penny S. Comino and her husband,Gene of Worcester; 1 son, William B. Chase and his wife, Joan of Charlotteville; 11 grandchildren, James and Joseph Chase, Melodie Griffin, April Chamberlan, John O'Dell Jr., Charles and Patrick O'Dell, Robert Dibble, Christina Becker, Tricha and Charles Chase;
many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; her 2
sisters, Joan and Helen and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sons, James D. Chase and Edwin W. Chase Jr. and a grandson Ronny O. Dibble.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester with the Rev. Jane Pykus officiating.
A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. till the service time at 11:00 a.m.
