MT. VISION – Mary D. Harvey, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at her home with her family by her side, after a brief illness.

She was born January 14, 1926 in Cannonvilles, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Hartford) Davis.

She married Robert B. Harvey in July 1, 1950. He predeceased her on November 14, 2000.

Mrs. Harvey was an elementary teacher at Charlotte Valley Central School in Davenport for 25 years

She is survived by her daughter, Charle (Bill) Carentz; her son, Craig Harvey; a sister, Bret Weitzel; grandchildren, Nathan Morgan, Jennifer Maison, Landry Rubino, Lindsey, Luke and Jordan Harvey, Bill Jr., Heather and Nathan Carentz; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Delaney Maison and Ben and Trentin Carentz; her caretaker and close personal friend, Debra Lewis; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home in Oneonta.

Interment will be at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery at a later date.
