Worcester
Mary E. Kniskern, 76, passed away Friday, November 25, 2011 at her residence.
She was born on May 13, 1935 in Middleburg; the daughter of Lester and Ella (Warner)Kniskern.
Mary graduated from Sharon Springs Central School in 1953 and from Union University of Nursing in 1956.
In 1984 she retired from nursing at Dr. Leversee's Office in Schenectady to move to Worcester to be closer to her family.
She was an avid reader and bird watcher and was a member of the Worcester United Methodist Church.
Mary is survived by her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.
A graveside committal service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Worcester United Methodist Church, 48 Main Street, Worcester, NY 12197.
