Schenevus

Mary B. Lambert, 64, passed away, Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

She was born on August 18, 1953 in Binghamton, NY; the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth (Hoagland) Staff.

Mary married Donald Lambert on July 5, 1975. He predeceased her on October 24, 2008.

She was a longtime area resident who retired from Laurens Central School in July of 2015.

Mary was a member of the Catskill Transmitter Club and was a licensed HAM radio operator "KC2CKP".

She loved bowling, camping, flea markets, Elvis Presley and the New York Yankees.

Mary is survived by her 3 children, Tammy Nolette, James Lambert and Beth Morell, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, her sisters, Caroline Furman, Marlene Dimick and Linda Dawson, her brothers, Carl Staff and Walter Staff and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Ginger Short and her brothers Tommy Staff and Richard Staff.

A calling hour will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street, in Worcester.

A graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m., Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Schenevus Cemetery, Main Street in Schenevus.

Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Mary to the American Cancer Society.
