Oneonta – Mary Ann Richards, 79, passed away on October 16, 2023 at her daughter's home.

She was born July 3, 1944 in Cooperstown, the daughter of Mike and Isabelle Amatuccio.

Mary grew up in Laurens and has lived in Oneonta for over 20 years.

She married Donald Richards, who predeceased her on September 27, 2002.

She is survived by her children, Betty DeLong of Cooperstown, Bonnie McLean of Oneonta, Donald Richards of Oneonta and Donna Jean Richards of Binghamton; grandchildren, Theresa DeLong, Lilly DeLong, Jessica McLean, Brenda Swartz, and Brittany McLean; great-grandchildren, Damien, Aiden, Kaylee, Rosalie, Maddox and Eli; siblings, Jonathan Amatuccio, Mike Amatuccio Jr., Rose Curtis, Noreen Hodge, Joanne Sargent; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.  A celebration of life for immediate family will take place after the service.  Interment will be at the Hartwick Cemetery at a later date.
