WORCESTER – Mary F. Robinson, 84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February, 25, 2008. She passed away at her daughter's home in Fort Plain.
She was born October 19, 1923 in Worcester, the daughter of John and Nellie (Roe) Morrell.
Mrs. Robinson was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth in April of 1979, and also her parents.
She is survived by her four children, Paul Robinson of Worcester, Anna Robinson Nelson and her husband, James of Liverpool, Marie Robinson and her companion, Gary of Fort Plain, and Warren Robinson and his wife, Laura of Worcester; 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, a brother, Lavern Morrell and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Robinson worked at the Key Bank in Worcester, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the Worcester Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary. Her husband, Kenneth was the fire chief of Worcester for 25 years.
She enjoyed her family and loved her animals. She took in stray animals and also had a tender heart to take in family and friends who needed help, shelter and food.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 from Noon to the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester, with the Rev. George I. Goodwin, Jr. officiating.
Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester at a later date.
