Worcester - Merle William Ridgeway, 69, passed away in his home on May 1, 2025 following a brief illness.

He was born June 11, 1955 in Cobleskill NY to Merle and Bernice Ridgeway.

Merle married Michele in December of 2015, in Worcester, NY.

Merle lived in Worcester for most of his life, surrounded by family and friends. He worked in many fields, a jack of all trades, but his love for was farming and raising his dogs. He loved cutting hay and cruising in his corvette or on his Harley. He enjoyed spending time with family; sharing his vast knowledge and sense of humor. He always had something to say for every situation.

Merle is survived by his wife, Michele; and children; James, Leeanne, and Kimberly, and stepson Daniel, as well as 7 grandchildren, cousins, and extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., June 7, 2025 at the Worcester Fire Hall, 36 Church Street, Worcester, NY 12197.
