ASBURY PARK, NJ – Michael B. Cardilla, 79, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at The Otsego Manor.
He was born January 28, 1931 in Asbury Park, NJ, the son of Michael G. and Louise (Annecharico) Cardilla.
Michael spent most of his life in Monmouth county shore area in New Jersey. He moved to Oneonta in 1994 to live with his daughter and grandchildren.
He is survived by a daughter, Michelle Cardilla and two grandchildren, Craig and Chloe Shamblin, all of Oneonta; a brother, Peter Cardilla of Neptune, NJ; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Roann Badgley Cardilla in 2004; a son, Michael B. Cardilla Jr. in 1983.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, with the Rev. Joseph Bokel, Catskill Area Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
