Mt. Vision – Michael Quinn Gregory, 88, passed away on December 18, 2023 at Albany Medical Center.

He was born March 30, 1935 in Oneonta, the son of Stewart Pattengill and Margaret (Quinn) Gregory.

He graduated from Hartwick Central School, and was known as one of the "Hinman Hollow Boys".

He married Suzanne Wikoff on July 21, 1957 in Hartwick.  She predeceased him on January 6, 2019.

Michael made his career with the United States Army.  He served from 1954 to 1978, obtaining the rank of CW2. His military assignments included overseas tours in Japan, France, and Vietnam. He was able to have his family move with him to the many locations he was stationed, always returning home to upstate New York.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 1688 in Laurens, involved with the Prostate Support Group, and on the committee for the Mt. Vision Cemetery.  In retirement, he drove Gus the Bus.

He is survived by a daughter, Lorrie Little of Virginia; son, Michael T. and Lori K. Gregory of Texas; granddaughters, Devon and Bob Mathers, of Virginia, Amy and Kelly Gregory and Rachel and Blake Duquette of Texas; two great-grandsons, Jack D. and Evan Q.; sister, Patricia Corcoran (Mike) and family; in-laws, Helen Wikoff, David Wikoff and Jean Kosier, Ronald Wikoff, Joan and Stewart Handy, William Dean and Theresa Wikoff and Rose Wikoff and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Krista Little and brother-in-law, Robert Wikoff.

Calling hours will be from 2 p.m. with the service at 3 p.m., Friday, January 5, 2024 at Lewis Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, with the Rev. John Buddle, officiating.

Interment with military honors will be 10 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2024 at the Mt. Vision Cemetery.
