Michael S. Lipari's Obituary
ONEONTA – Michael S. Lipari, 62, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009 at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.
He was born October 30, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of Dr. Michael and Charlotte (Chapman) Lipari.
Michael graduated from Oneonta High School in 1964 and from Columbia University in 1968.
He was the president of Empire Abstract of Oneonta; and was a member of the Oneonta Lions Club.
Michael is survived by his beloved partner, Cheryl Carter; his children, Robert, Joseph and Katherine and their mother, Cynthia Lipari; a sister, Louisa (Martin) Berger and her children, Daniel, Emily and Barbara; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Harlem and her sons, Ryan and Gregory.
He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Joseph.
At Michael's request a private service will be held.
A memorial celebration will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2009 at My Father's Place, located at the Rainbow Inn, 5690 State Highway 7, Oneonta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Michael to the Lions Club of Oneonta, Inc., P.O. Box 575, Oneonta, NY 13820
