Obituary

Michele H. Kenney, of Worcester, NY passed away on August 30, 2009, in the loving care of the Staff at the Otsego County Manor, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Born on August 28, 1944 in Greenlawn, NY, she was the daughter of Thomas and Edna Ortolani.

A loving companion to Joseph Brennan for nearly a quarter of a century; they moved to Worcester in 1989, surrounded by love and family.

Michele worked at the Neptune Diner for many years, but the best job she had was being a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by the father of her children, John M. Kenney Jr., of Cooperstown NY.

Michele was a loving mother to her four children, Shelley (Bob) Putnam of Worcester, NY, Jack (Bridget) Kenney of Worcester, NY, Colleen (Andy) Cordone of Sacandaga Park, NY, and Edward Kenney of Cary, NC.

Michele was a wonderful grandmother to Veronica, Bobby, Megan, Katherine, John, Andrew and Patrick.

She is also survived by her siblings, Tom (Betty) Ortolani, Jerry (Patricia) Ortolani, and Edna Bace; loving and long time friends, John and Jackie Turner of Worcester, NY.

She also leaves behind Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends.

Calling hours will be Saturday, September 5, 2009 from 11 a.m. to the funeral services at 12:30 p.m. at E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, Worcester, with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle, chaplain at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, officiating.

Interment will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester
