Somerset, NJ – Michelle Denise (Chickerell) Roxas, 38, formerly of Oneonta, passed away Monday, September 10, 2007 unexpectedly.

She was born in Oneonta on December 15, 1968, the daughter of Nancy (Ditmore) Chickerell and the late Anthony N. Chickerell.

Michelle was a graduate of Oneonta High School and Corning Community College.

She married Robin S. Roxas on August 21, 1999 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oneonta.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Robin Roxas of Somerset, NJ; her mother, Nancy Chickerell of Oneonta; two brothers, Joseph and his wife, Shiloh Chickerell and Michael Chickerell of Oneonta; three nieces, Mara Liwag, Alaycia and Eowyn Chickerell; four nephews, Francis, Matthew, Marvin and Drawde Roxas; one aunt, Linda and her husband, Bud Kelly of Ohio; father-in-law, Victorio Roxas of California; three brothers-in-law, Butch and his wife, Stella Roxas, Vick Roxas, and Gary and his wife, Stella Roxas; a sister-in-law, Emelyn Liwag; special friends, Raquel Pfeister of Milford and Nelson Short of Oneonta

She was predeceased by her father, Anthony and maternal grandparents, Alice and Charles Ditmore.

Michelle loved her family and was very much loved by them. She will always remain in our hearts!

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
