On Friday, May 7th, at 2:30 PM, a graveside memorial service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Worcester, NY, for Mildred Lipe Van Voorhis, who departed to be with her Lord on February 18th in Greenville, SC. She is survived by her husband John, four children, and eleven grandchildren.

Mr. Van Voorhis was a resident of Decatur, NY from 1932 until 1955. Members of the Van Voorhis family lived in Decatur and nearby communities for well over 100 years beginning in the early 1800's, and four generations of Van Voorhises are interred at Maple Grove Cemetery.

The service will be conducted by the deceased's brother, the Rev. Paul Lipe of Delhi, LA. Members and friends of the Van Voorhis family are cordially encouraged to attend.
