WESTFORD – Myrna L. Burton, 78, passed away at her home on May 8, 2019 after a long illness.  She was born April 29, 1941.

Myrna is survived by her children, Herbie, Hanky, Bobby, Don and Wendy, and Barbara and Scott St. John; many special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Geraldine (Vincent), Alice, and Charlene; her brother-in-law and sister- in-law, Les and Rocheal Burton; and by many nieces and nephews.

Myrna spent many years raising her six children with her husband on the family farm in Westford, NY and then operating Walt's Restaurant in Worcester. She was a very hard worker and loving mother to her children and grandchildren. Myrna later worked at The Meadows Nursing Home for several years as a nursing assistant until her retirement. She was an avid cook and loved to bake, especially zucchini bread which was so popular with our family and community.  Myrna was an avid sports enthusiast, she loved watching her children and grandchildren's sporting events. Our mom was devastated by the loss of her son, Jimmy, in a 2010 tragic accident.

Myrna is predeceased by her husband, Henry M. Burton, her son, James (Jimmy) Burton and her grandson, Nicholas St. John.

There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service at the Westford Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.
