ONEONTA – Nancy J. Chicorelli, died peacefully in her sleep at home on April 19, 2014.

She was born February 17, 1936 in Oneonta, the daughter of Leonard and Janet Stanton.

Nancy married Eugene (John) Chicorelli on August 2, 1953.

She was a Child Protective Caseworker for the Department of Otsego County Social Services.

Nancy was devoted to, and loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time at her camp on Goodyear Lake, traveling, staying current with world affairs, shopping (especially at the Amish Barn) and swimming at her daughter's pool.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Eugene (John) Chicorelli; her children, Lisa Barnes (Bill) of Stamford, Loraine Iampietro (Nick) of Warrington, PA, Paul Chicorelli (Deborah), Lizabeth Fink and Linda Gilmore (Michael), all of Oneonta; "adopted" daughter, Lola Hannah Dusto of West Winfield; her siblings, Lenda Turner (Ken) of Carbondale, PA, William Stanton (MaryAnn) of Margaretville, Alice Stanton of Maryland, and Scott Stanton of Oneonta; grandchildren, Courtney Martin (Frank), Jared Iampietro (Melissa), Jacob Iampietro (Carmen), Mitchell Sanik, John Paul Chicorelli, Arlynn Iampietro (Matt), Josh Chicorelli, William Fink, Bradley Fink, Mike Gilmore, Kara Chicorelli, Audrey Gilmore, and Sophie Gilmore; two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Lucas Iampietro; numerous nieces and nephews, including, Mellissa Craft (James) of Unadilla.

A private service will be held at the family's convenience.
