Nancy L. Ives, a devoted sister, aunt, and lifelong caregiver, passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2025, at the age of 71, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on September 12, 1953, to Laura Mae Banker and Carlyle Harry Ives, Nancy was a compassionate and giving soul who dedicated her life to caring for those she loved. Nancy was known for her gentle spirit, her love of baking, and the deep joy she found in being surrounded by family. Whether she was preparing her signature recipes or offering a listening ear, she gave generously of herself and left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her kindness was quiet but powerful, and her strength was a constant presence in the lives of those she cared for.

She was predeceased by her brother, Tracy L. Ives; her sisters, Leah Knapp and Joann Bellinger; her nephews, Brian Ives and Jason Knapp; and her niece, Stacy Knapp Beacraft.

Though her passing leaves a profound void, her memory will continue to be cherished by her loved ones.

Nancy is survived by her brother, Stephen Ives, and his wife Barb; her nieces, Jennifer Ives, Amy Ives, and Emily Ives; and her nephews, Tim Bellinger, Pete Bellinger, and Douglas Ives.

Her family will remember her for the love she gave so freely, and the quiet courage with which she faced life's challenges.

A service to celebrate Nancy's life will be 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester, NY.
