Davenport - Nancy E. Turner, 84, passed away on March 17, 2026, at A.O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta after an extended illness.

Nancy was born on September 24, 1941, in Dorloo, the daughter of Frank and Frances (Warner) McMann. She grew up in Cobleskill, where she graduated from high school.

On September 24, 1961, she married Jack E. Turner at the Edmeston Methodist Church. Over the years, Nancy worked at Newberry's in Cooperstown, a glove factory, and Spring House Bath Spa in Sharon Springs. Her proudest moments, however, were spent raising her children.  She loved nature and the NY Yankees.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Turner; her daughters, Melissa (Mark) Cronin, and twins Cindy Turner and Mindy Turner; her granddaughter, Jacqueline Christophersen; and her sister, Shirley Slater, along with Shirley's children, Susan Diamond and Rich Slater, and their families.

She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Virginia Briggs and her brothers, Edward, Frankie and Pete McMann.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, with the Rev. Mary Jo Koehler officiating.

A graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, NY.
