Obituary

Maryland – Nicholas H. Sanna, 67, passed away on November 20, 2022 at his home.

He was born December 6, 1954 in Queens, the son of Crandall and Aleita (Fisher) Sanna.

Nick was a United States Navy veteran.

He married Susan Jarema on April 22, 2018 in Worcester.

Nick had owned a construction company, Sanna's Workshop in Speonk, NY.  He was an active member in the community theater in the Oneonta area.  He enjoyed boating, hunting and most especially his family.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Jarema; his children, Katie (Jonathan) Arthur and Matthew (Kellie) Sanna; 4 grandchildren, Jackson, Luke, Kaitlyn, and Mackenzie; his siblings, Henry (Deborah) Sanna, Jenifer Lavery (Kenneth Pearson), Priscilla (Anne) Drake, James (Donna) Sanna; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and his nephew, Henry Nicholas Sanna.

Calling hours will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 25, at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main St., Worcester.  There will be a remembrance service at 6:30 p.m. with a Divine Mercy Chaplet to follow.

The funeral mass will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 26, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 201 Main St., Worcester, with the Rev. Joseph Arockiasamy as the celebrant.
