ROUND LAKE - The committal service for Oakley W. Whitbeck Jr., 70, who passed
away Nov. 24, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital, will be 12:30 pm, Friday, July 11, 2014
at the Maryland Cemetery.


He was born July 11, 1943 in Middleburgh, the son of the late Oakley W. and
Mable Whitbeck Sr. Oakley was a member of the Round Lake Fire Dept. and past
vice-president and president of the Round Lake Hose Company.


He is the beloved husband and partner of forty-six years to Lois J. Whitbeck.
Oakley is the devoted father of Jessica, Marc and the late Robert. He is the
brother of Jessica White and brother-in-law of Cynthia Amash and Steven and
Theresa Taite. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
