Obituary

MILFORD – Oneia Kaye Meadows, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 2, 2008.

She was born June 25, 1966 in Williamson, West Virginia.

Kaye married Robert Meadows Jr. on July 20, 1991 at the Milford United Methodist Church.

Kaye's passion in her life was her husband and her children. She was a people person and enjoyed taking care of her yard and loved hunting and fishing. She worked for the Upstate Home For Children (Springbrook) for 11 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Meadows Jr.; her devoted children, Robert III, Kerri Anne and Cory Lynn; her father, Garland and wife, Brenda Elkins of Broadhead, Kentucky; her mother, Doris Jean and husband, Irvin Webb of Colora, Maryland; her grandmother, Dixie Grove; brothers and sisters, Robin Keeling, Patrick Elkins, Mary Smith, Erin Maggard, Joshua Webb and Amoss Webb; mother-in-law, Fay Meadows Howe; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Gregory Meadows, Pamela Meadows Filor and Brandon Meadows; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home in Oneonta.

The funeral service will be Friday, February 8, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. There will be one hour of calling hours prior to the service. The Pastor Michael Amos of the Unadilla Fellowship Baptist Church will officiate.

Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery in Otego.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in loving memory of Kaye to her family.
