Pasqualina T. "Pat" Herring, 93, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Otsego Manor.
Pat was born on August 3, 1920 in Lodi, NJ; the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Lapetina) Pignato.
She married Lawrence D. Herring on April 16, 1944 at St. Joseph's Church in Staten Island. He predeceased her on June 11, 2006.
Pat is survived by her children, Lawrence Herring Jr. and his wife Laura of Oneonta and Lorraine Mannix and her husband Gary of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Duane Herring, Marie (Kris) Crandall, Chris Eck, Jason (Lindsay) Mannix, Jessica (Dave) Turner, Jenna Mannix and Jenevieve (Edward) Jennings III; 2 great grandsons, Trystan and Tanner Jennings, 1 great granddaughter, Georgianna Mannix; and a son-in-law Richard L. Ploutz Jr.
She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Ann Herring Ploutz.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St. in Oneonta with the Rev. Keith VanDewerker officiating.
Burial will follow at the Laurens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in loving memory of Pat to the Catskill Area Hospice, 1 Birchwood Ave., Oneonta, NY 13820.
