Schenevus - Patricia A. Hunter, 79, passed away February 20, 2019 at the Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

She was born on February 22, 1939 in Oneonta, the daughter of Clifford and Eva (Gabriel) Currie.

Pat married Hartley Hunter on June 28, 1958 in Albany, NY.  He predeceased her in May of 2008.

She was a lifelong area resident who served in the United States Air Force.

Pat was a member of the Young at Heart.  She loved being around her family and her many animals.

She is survived by her sons, Eugene and Heather, William and Jamie, Daniel and Terry and James and Gina; her daughter, Meranda and Rich; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dawn Massara and Dolores Hedman; her brother, Jack Currie and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 25, 2019 at the Heller & Skinner Funeral Home, 155 Main Street in Worcester with the Rev. Judith A. Thistle, officiating. A calling hour will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m.

Pat's burial will take place at the Schenevus Cemetery at a later date.
