RICHMONDVILLE – Patricia E. "Nana" Matthews, 62, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 with her family at her side after a courageous battle with several illnesses.

She was born May 24, 1947 in Brunswick, Maine.

Patricia grew up in Lisbon Falls, Maine, where she graduated from Lisbon Falls High School. After living abroad and in various places, she finally settled in Richmondville, NY.

She loved and is loved by her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed reading and especially spending time with her grandsons and her faithful companion Princess.

She is survived by her daughter, Jill Parker and husband, Roy, of Richmondville; her son, William R. Matthews Jr. and wife, Tara, of Olive Branch, MS; two grandsons, Jacob and Thomas Parker; two brothers, Robert Moore of Deland, FL and Alton Moore Sr. of Lebanon, CT; a sister, Roberta Schreier of North Windham, CT; nieces and nephews, Barbara Schreier, Kristopher Slate, Nicole Davies, Ryan Moore, Alton Moore Jr., Shelbi Moore, Mikaelie Rinn and Austen Moore; and many aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as her beloved puppy, Princess.

She is predeceased by her mother, Barbara Plummer Moore and grandparents, Francis and Mary Plummer.

Private services will be held at a later date.
