WORCESTER - Patricia J. (Miller) Decker, 60, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at home with her family beside her, after a long battle with cancer.

Patricia J. Becker was born on September 23, 1949 in Cobleskill, the daughter of Clarence and Jesse Becker

She married Fredrick "Ted" Decker, April 28, 2010 in Decatur, NY. She is also the widow of David Miller Sr. of Howe's Cave, NY

Patty retired after 18 years with the Worcester Central School District. She has been an area resident for 30 Years.

She is s member of the Worcester Red Hat Society, Worcester Wheelers and the Worcester Woman's Club.

Patty is survived by her husband, Fredrick (Ted) Decker at home; her children, Christina (Thomas) Sanford of Groton, NY, David Miller Jr. of Hartford, CT, Michael (Michelle) Decker of Stevensville, MI, Barbara (Greg) Mott of Ovid, NY; grandchildren, Jessica, Benjamin and Timothy Sanford, Jordan and Ian Miller, Ashley Decker, and Nathanial, Andrew and Logan Mott.

She is also survived by two sisters and a brother, her mother-in-law and several brothers and sisters-in-law, along with a large extended family and many, many friends, many of whom helped provide her and her family with comfort and support.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, May 14th from 3 PM until 9 PM at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 15th at 2 PM at the United Methodist Church, 48 Main St., Worcester, with the Rev. Sue Wenner, pastor, officiating.

Burial at the Decatur Cemetery will be following the funeral.

Family and friends will gather at the Worcester Fire Hall following the burial for a dish to pass.
