ONEONTA – Paula Polly Cleaveland, 49, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 at Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown.

She was born September 12, 1963 in Sidney, the daughter of Adelbert Levi and Reta Ann (Place) Cleavelend.

Paula lived with her life long friend and partner, Douglas Lindberg and a great nephew/son, Tyler. She was a mom to some, an aunt to most and a friend to all. She was a very loving kind and compassionate person. She always tried to help all she could when she could.

Paula is also survived by her brothers, Peter Cleaveland of Oneonta, Adelbert and Danny Cleaveland, both of Hartwick; 3 nieces, 4 nephews, 1 great nephew, 3 great nieces, and many more family and friends.

Paula was predeceased by her mother 2 years ago and her father 15 years ago.

Calling hours will be 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service starting at 1 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, Oneonta. Interment will follow at the Hamden Cemetery.
