OTEGO – Peter C. Ottzen, 92, passed away December 3, 2021 at Delhi Rehabilitation and Nursing Home.

Peter was born in Perth Amboy, NJ.  He was a United States Army veteran serving from 1951 to 1957.

Peter was a talented furniture maker and wood carver.  Peter owned and operated Town and Country Electric, Otego.

He is survived by his wife, Ethelyn (Whiteman) Ottzen; children, Peter C. Ottzen II, Marie (Mark) Lockburner, and George Ottzen; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Youngs, Jennifer (Ben) Herrera and Sarah (Jay) Lopez; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Molly, David and Lucas; brother, Lonnie (Beverly) Ottzen; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Alma Millen.

Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with Military honors at 3:00 p.m. on Friday December 10, at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.
