Polly A. Smith's Obituary
ONEONTA – Polly A. Smith, 85, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 after a short illness.
Polly was born in Ancram, NY, the youngest of six children, to the late Harry A. and Carrie B. (Robinson) Blass. She celebrated 65 years of marriage to John L. Smith Jr. Polly and John moved to Davenport in 1950.
Besides her husband, Polly is survived by two daughters, Linda (Jack) McLean of Valley Falls; and Jill (Jim) Stoecklin of Hartwick; four grandchildren, Brett (Megan) McLean of Latham, Heath (Sarah) McLean of Orlando, FL, Brooke Stoecklin of Laurens, and Morgan Stoecklin of Hartwick. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters.
Polly was predeceased by her son, Roger A. Smith.
Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta.
Private service and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
