MARYLAND - Raymond Fey Jr., 61, of Maryland, passed away Friday, August 11, 2006 at his residence.
He was born on October 31, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY; the son of Raymond and Evelyn (Schadyk) Fey Sr.
Raymond married Dassie Boodhoo on February 28, 1983 in Suffolk County.
He served in the United States Army during Korea.
Raymond was a customer service clerk at the Great American and Hannaford Supermarkets in Oneonta.
Moving from Copiague, NY in 1987, Raymond has been an area resident for 19 years.
He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Delhi and the North American Hunting Club. He was an avid conservationist.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Dassie Fey of Maryland; 2 daughters, Sita and Erica Fey both of Maryland; a brother, Robert Fey of Florida and a sister, Elizabeth Fey of Florida.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Cross St., Delhi with the Rev. Michael Flannery as celebrant.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 15, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. To 8:00 p.m. At the Heller Funeral Home, 25 Arch St., Schenevus.
Contributions may be made in loving memory of Raymond to the CH Graham Hose Co., PO Box 116, Schenevus, NY 12155or the Schenevus Girl Scouts, 1024 Stanley Roseboom Road, Schenevus, NY 12155.
