Obituary

East Worcester

Raymond W. Tiffany, 76, passed away Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Albany VA Hospital.

He was born on July 16, 1934 in Gilbertsville, the son of Ellis and Etta (Hackett) Tiffany.

Ray married Helen M. Naples on May 31, 1958 at St. Joseph's RC Church in Worcester.

He served in the United States Airforce during the Korean Conflict from 1953-1957.

Ray worked for Agway in Cobleskill and Colliersville for 31 years.

He was a member of St. Joseph's RC Church, 50 year member and 21 year Chief of the East Worcester Hose Co. #1, Chairman and Commissioner of Fire District, Life member of the Worcester American Legion Post 1584, Schenevus VFW Post 2752, Life member of the Oneonta DAV and the East Worcester Fish and Game Club.

Ray is survived by his wife, Helen of East Worcester; children, Donna and David Littlecook of Glenville, Alan and Charlene Tiffany of East Worcester and Brian and Valerie Tiffany of Worcester, 4 grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew, Mason and Jenna and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2011 at St. Joseph's RC Church in Worcester with the Rev. Ronald Green, MM as celebrant.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 31, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel, 155 Main St. in Worcester.
