It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister and sister-in-law, Renee Leslie Evans on December 28, 2025.

Born on January 29,1980, Renee grew up in West Milford, New Jersey, attending Our Lady Queen of Peace Grammar School and graduating from West Milford High School. Her love for literature and language led her to earn a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ramapo college, a degree that fueled her eloquent writing and a deep appreciation for the written word.

Beyond her academic achievements, Renee had a deep knowledge of ingredients and flavor profiles. She was a talented baker and her culinary skills shined through in every meal, pastry, cupcake, cookie and cake she created.

She is survived by her mother, Victoria, her sister Susan and her husband Ron and a host of cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her.

A celebration of Renee's life will be held at a later date; details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Feeding New York State Food Bank of Hudson Valley.
