Colliersville – Richard L. Munson, 87, passed away January 24, 2019 at Cooperstown Center with his family by his side.

He was born March 2, 1931 in Oneonta, the son of William and Helen (Reynolds) Munson.

He married his high school sweetheart in September 1949.  They had over 69 years of a loving marriage.

Dick was a member of BPOE #1312

He was predeceased by his parents, and brothers Bill and Bob Munson.

Dick is survived by his wife, Laura (Yager) Munson; sons, Richard (Faye), Gary (Barbara) and Keith (Sun); grandchildren, Shannon (Derrick), Jason, Michele (Tim), Ashley, Britney, Bret (Kelly), Heather (Dave), great-grandchildren, Ni'esa, Jason, Galisia, MarQies, Karrie, Hunter, Cade, Evan, Mathew and Dominic also several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time.  A graveside service at Glenwood Cemetery in Oneonta will be announced at a later time.

Donations may be made in loving memory of Richard to the American Cancer Society.
