Richard M. Nason's Obituary
MARYLAND – Richard M. Nason, 65, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
He was born April 18, 1946 in Kingston, the son of Wendell and Rosaland Nason.
Richard was a machinist at General Electric in Schenectady then was employed by Otsego Automotive, Oneonta (Country Club Motor Group) in the Automotive Parts Department.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Nason of Maryland; a daughter, Kristin and Winford Wayman of Utah and their son, Garrett; a son, Steven and Shannon Risch of Illinois and their children, Anthony and Ailee; and a son, David Risch and Dorothy Clements of Pittsfield.
He was predeceased by his brother, David Nason.
A celebration of life and reception will be held 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the Schenevus Valley Masonic Lodge, Main St, Schenevus.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association in New York, 700 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, NY 11788
