OTEGO – Richard B. Roseboom, 51, passed away Monday, August 03, 2015 at Albany Medical Center .
He was born August 23, 1963 in Cobleskill, the son of Herbert and Lucille (Ball) Roseboom.
Richard graduated from Worcester Central School than continued his education at SUNY Cobleskill and Hartwick College in Oneonta, obtaining high academic honors.
He married Linda Sriyanti on January 15, 2007 in Bogor , Indonesia .
Richard was employed as Senior Auditor at Office of Inspector General of the United Stated Department of HUD. He received many achievement awards, during the 20 plus years working there.
He is survived by wife, Linda Roseboom and their daughter, Kellshya K. Roseboom, of Otego; his mother, Lucille (Richard) Thomas of Oneonta; his father, Herbert (Audrey) Roseboom of Otego; his brother, John (Kathy) Roseboom, and their children, Ryan, Nicholas and Emma, all of Syracuse; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and the beloved family in Indonesia.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Frederick and Emma Ball and Horase and Ethalyn Roseboom.
Calling hours will be Noon to the memorial service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St.., Oneonta. The Rev. William Allen, pastor of First Christian Church, Otego, will be officiating.
Donations may be made to the Otego Fire Department, 5 River St, Otego , NY 13825 .
