ROBERT W. BALDWIN

MARYLAND – Robert W. Baldwin, 82, passed away Friday, June 16, 2006, at his caregivers home in Worcester.

He was born February 17, 1924 in Bridgehampton, the son of Adriance and Fanny (Sayre) Baldwin.

He married Elsie Kathryn Robertson on September 26, 1946 in Bridgehampton. She predeceased him on May 3, 2002.

Robert was a United States Navy veteran, serving in World War II.

He was a dairy farmer for several years and was a Director on the Board of Eastern Milk Producers. Robert retired from Mirabito Fuel Group in Oneonta, where he was a credit manager.

Robert was a member of the Worcester United Methodist Church, the Oneonta Rotary Club, where he received the Paul Harris Fellow Award, and also a member of the Sanitarian Association.

He is survived by his children, James and his wife, Betty Baldwin of Freeville, twins, Michael and his wife, Nancy Baldwin of Buffalo, Patricia Baldwin of Maryland, and Diana Baldwin Killian and her husband, Roger Killian of Red Springs, NC; grandchildren, M. Ross. Scott L. and Andrew G. Baldwin, Chad M. and Nicole R. Posey, Laura C. and her husband, Pedro Huertero and Robert C. Killian; several nieces, nephews, and his friend and caregiver Nora Maldonado of Worcester.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 from 10 a.m. to the memorial service at 11 a.m. at the Worcester United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jane Pykus, pastor, officiating.

Interment will be at the Maryland Cemetery, at a later date.
