MARYLAND – Robert Baylis, 71, while at home in Maryland, NY quietly returned to his heavenly home after a long illness on July 9, 2011.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, Pauline and Marshall Baylis.

Bob leaves the love of his life and his companion of 42 years, Sharon Wagner; along with two sisters and one brother, Paula Baron and her husband, George, Denise Kane and William Baylis, all of Mohawk, NY; his five children, Laurence Baylis, of Maryland, NY, Tony Baylis, Laura Baylis, Allyson Baylis and Angela Baylis, all of Tampa, Florida. Bob also leaves many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and close friends from Ilion, Mohawk, Cobleskill, Howes Cave, Milford, Richfield, Summit, Stamford, Bath and Tampa, Florida.

There will be no memorial service. Friends and family are welcome to visit at his home at their convenience.
