ONEONTA – Robert D. "Bob" Tiffany, 78, died March 13, 2010 peacefully at home with his loving partner at his side.



He was born April 6, 1931 in Syracuse, the son of the late Robert L. and Kathryn S. Tiffany.



Bob was loved by his family and many friends, and was devoted to lending a hand to those he cared about. He was an outstanding craftsman and his love of his work was evident in all the "projects" he took on.



He is survived by his long time soul mate and loving partner, Charlotte Hanson; four children, Sue, Bobby and his wife, Patty, Doug and his wife, Kate and Peter and his wife, Barb; 10 grandchildren, Jake, Becky, Katie, Cassie, Christine, Laura, Sara, Bruce, Danielle and Nichole; and Bob's dog, Louie, who was his faithful companion.
